Privacy notice

Fortis Planner is in trial with invited teams. This notice says what the application holds about you during the trial, where it is kept, and who to ask. Last updated 5 October 2026.

This website

This page and the ones beside it are plain pages. They set no cookies, run no analytics and load nothing from anyone else. The application itself, at app.fortisplanner.com, is a separate thing and is what the rest of this notice is about.

What the application holds about you

  • Your name, and the login (an email address) an administrator created for you.
  • Your place in the Teams you belong to: your role in each, a nickname and a colour if one was set, and whether work can be assigned to you.
  • The work recorded against you: the Projects and Tasks you own, are assigned to or asked for, the Remarks you write, and the files and links you attach.
  • A record of every change made in the application, with who made it and when. This is the audit trail, and your name appears in it against the changes you make.
  • If you sign in with a password: a one-way hash of it, never the password itself.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with your Google account, Google tells the application your email address (and that it is verified), your name, and the permanent identifier Google gives your account. The application uses the email address to find the person an administrator created for you, and keeps the identifier so that it recognises you next time. It receives nothing else from your Google account, and nothing is written back to it.

Where it is kept

The application and its database run on infrastructure operated by us in the United Kingdom. Your browser's connection to it is encrypted and passes through Cloudflare, which provides the secure connection and the address. Backups are taken daily and kept in secure, protected cloud storage under our account.

Who sees it

The people in your Teams, according to their roles in the application; the organisation's administrators; and us, in running the service. It is not shared with anyone else and is not used for anything other than running the trial.

How long, and your choices

Your data is kept for the length of the trial. At the end of the trial, or earlier if you ask, your organisation's data is deleted, including its backups. You can ask at any time for a copy of what is held about you, or for it to be corrected or deleted.
